Sex Addiction

Damn. We’re really going to do a comp title on this? Yeah dude. No topics are off limits here.

You may have seen Thanks for Sharing, a film that came out in 2012 about sex addiction. If your experience was anything like mine, you were mislead by the marketing and thought it was a cute little comedy about a guy who had an aversion to technology. After watching the film, you got to enjoy an extremely awkward car ride with your mom.

I desperately hope your experience wasn’t like mine.

I mean, just look at that poster. Looks like a sweet movie, right?

Comp Title for Thanks for Sharing:

Shame.

At least this poster provides some semblance of what you’re getting into. (Hint: It’s Michael Fassbender’s pants.)

All joking aside, Shame is significantly darker than Thanks for Sharing, so I would advise you to watch at your own risk.

Personally, I am someone who believes that no subject should be off limits in art - especially if it drives conversation or helps someone to feel seen.
